What is Movo?

Last updated: November 3, 2026

Movo talks to families for you. It texts families who want to join, answers their questions and follows up, so they hear back quickly and you don't have to chase them. When a family needs a real person, Movo asks you.

What Movo does with a new family

A family shows interest, Movo texts them, answers them, follows up, and asks you if they need a person

A family arrives from your website form or a list you've added. Movo texts them as soon as they're added. If it's late at night, the first text waits until the morning.

Movo tells families it's an AI assistant. See Does Movo tell families it's an AI?

Examples of Movo's first text to a family

When a family replies, Movo answers at any hour. It uses your location's details, like the schedule and cost, and the facts you've added to Knowledge.

If a family goes quiet, Movo checks in again, and leaves longer gaps each time. See How Movo follows up.

When Movo needs you

Movo asks a person when a family wants to talk to someone, needs help paying, or asks something Movo doesn't know.

You get an alert, and the family shows up on Needs you. Click Reply (ringed below) and answer them. See Working your Needs You queue.

Are you still in control?

Yes. Every message is in Movo, so you can read what it said. You can reply to a family yourself at any time, or pause Movo for that family.
